Enterprises are regularly outsourcing services to external service providers. We buy and rent expertise that is not available within our organization. Using vendors, consultants and agencies to obtain products and services is a growing practice. This practical conference will help you consider a few practices to select and manage your experience with vendors and limited unproductive surprises.
Building on the issues that were discussed during a live web conference on October 18, 2016 (archive is available for members on the Institute website), the speaker has designed an interactive conversation that will help participant do the following:
What are you going to learn?
- List 3 things the client can do to increase the likelihood of receiving relevant service proposals from vendors;
- Consider 5 things the client may consider during the due diligence period with a new service provider;
- List 3 things the client can do to at the end of the project that will benefit the next project;
- Exchange various best practices with participants.
Participants will also be receiving a complete handout.
The speaker: Marc Lalande, M.Sc., CTDP. CRP, President of Learning Andrago Inc.

Marc has been an active human performance consultant on the National scene since 2008. He has also been the Chair of the Montreal’s Institute Chapter since 2010.
